Casa do Professor is a social solidarity association, founded in 1979, with public utility status since 1999 and a gold medal of merit obtained in 2006. In 2018, the institution obtained the Two Stars Committed to Excellence from the European Foundation for Quality Management, an entity that supports the excellence of management in European and worldwide organisations (a distinction awarded by the Portuguese Association for Quality) becoming the first association in the country to obtain this international recognition.

The institution supports teachers of all levels of education, promoting social initiatives, scientific and cultural training and recreational and cultural activities. When chasing these goals, it offers a very diverse range of activities and services for the benefit of more than 11000 teachers, bringing together their respective families. Its performance focuses not only on the professional development of its members, but also provides the support solutions in the personal and family dimensions. The association is non-profit, has a professional management, with more than forty employees and has cooperation protocols with one hundred partners. The institution's main goal is to dignify the professors, reinforcing the nobility of their profession - which is why it seeks to boost professional development activities, social intervention and cultural promotion. Casa do Professor aims to be the place where all teachers unite.

The institution also has a solidarity project called Novelos de Afetos - Meadas de Partilha (that can be translated as Skeins of Affections – Skeins of Sharing), a noble project that moves the institution to prevent school dropouts, promote the success and health of underprivileged children and youth who attend public schools, for true equality of educational opportunity. This project of social responsibility is anchored in a network of solidary partnerships with entities that seek to respond, through the mediation of Casa do Professor, to needs identified by schools, namely with regard to essential services and products in the areas of health, culture and education.

Teacher training at Casa do Professor is the largest Training Center in the country, with 30 years of uninterrupted activity, accredited by the Scientific-Pedagogical Council of Ongoing Training and certified by the Directorate-General for Employment and Labor Relations. Its main goals are to support the professional development of educators and primary and secondary education teachers and successively reinforce the dignification of the teaching profession.

Cesie is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization headquartered in Palermo (Italy) and founded in 2001, committed to promoting development cultural, social, educational and economic at local, national, European and international level.

The institution contributes to the growth and development through the active participation of people, civil society and institutions, always valuing diversity. Inspired by the work of Danilo Dolci, it focuses on researching social needs and challenges and using innovative approaches to learning. CESIE actively connects research to action through the use of formal and non-formal learning methodologies. The organizational structure is divided into six thematic units that work on cooperation and management activities in specific fields: Higher Education and Research; Rights and Justice; Adult, Migration; School; Youth. The units are supported by 3 geographic departments (Local, European and International) and 4 offices (Visibility and Communication, Network, HR, Finance).

In addition, it benefits from a wide network of partners with more than three thousand civil society organizations, universities, schools, research centres, public authorities and private entities, youth centres, companies and entrepreneurs all over the world. Its team is made up of sixty people with a wide range of qualifications, skills and professional profiles, united by a deep sharing of ideas that drive their activities. The team has an international character, being composed not only of Italians, but also of people from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Serbia and Lithuania. CESIE is therefore considered a very concrete and positive example of European values.

At the same time, the organization has about one hundred and fifty external specialists who collaborate on specific activities in their offices: three in Sicily and three abroad. Equally important is the contribution of around one hundred interns and volunteers per year involved in internships in the organization. CESIE has extensive experience in working as a coordinator and partner in projects funded under different European programmes: Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, AMIF, ENI CBC MED, REC, Justice and EuropeAid. Over time, its involvement and commitment to the topic of VET and entrepreneurship has steadily increased. Your expertise represents an added value to the project and the sustainability of its results. In addition, CESIE works with a great diversity of people of all ages, cultures and diverse backgrounds. built networks at local level with schools, NGOs, the Municipality of Palermo, the Chamber of Commerce and the University of Palermo; in Europe, with NGOs, educational institutions and several others entities, thanks to their active participation in the EU Stakeholder Group for the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion; internationally, through the federation and other networks to which it belongs.

The Professional School of Enogastronomy and Hospitality "Pietro Piazza" (Palermo, Italy) was officially created on July 9, 1997, with a decree from the Regional Department of Education. The school aims to interact with the local territory, responding to the need for human and professional promotion and valuing the resources that reside there: families, productive activities, environmental, artistic, historical resources, etc. It provides internal and external reorientation actions for students, creating structured guidance and training programs that help them become aware of their attitudes and potential, taking into account the external demands of the labor market. Seeks to promote the connection to the national territory, improving and deepening curricular knowledge and skills, carrying out various meetings, projects, internships, etc.. In addition, it encourages the signing of agreements between schools and local authorities, universities, as well as cultural, economic and educational agencies.

The mission of the "Pietro Piazza" Professional School of Enogastronomy and Hospitality is to promote the human and professional development of students, offering them the possibility of directly enter the world of work through various stages. Teachers are armed with tools to improve their performance in supporting students while study or when they are part of the labor market. Teachers guide students in selecting their educational and professional path, in order to reduce the dropout rate early schooling, youth unemployment or NEETs. Simultaneously, the institution develops and implements multicultural educational assets for teachers, in order to promote inclusive learning curricula for all students.

Colégio João Paulo II was created in 2006, with only a few dozen students, currently having more than 1,100 children and young people, divided into two centers (Dume and Sete Fontes), from four-month-old babies to 12th grade students, accompanied by around 100 educators and teachers with different training profiles and Professional Experiences. The college is a private and cooperative teaching establishment that was born from the vision and desire to develop an educational project at the service of families and society. The institution belongs to ASDPESO – Association for Personal and Social Development – a non-profit organization, whose essential pillars are the values of love, justice and peace. Colégio João Paulo II is open to all those who, regardless of their beliefs, choose it for its pedagogical proposal, in accordance with its educational mission, guided by a free, creative, responsible and supportive spirit.

The teacher's work is focused on discovering the intellectual, human and social potential of children and young people, encouraging them to develop the capacities of each one in their individuality. The pedagogical proposal focuses on the development of free, entrepreneurial, creative, responsible and solidary human beings, an inclusive school where everyone has a place. In addition to formal education, the college develops in students an important set of other types of skills, preparing them for a changing society, in which the difference lies in the preparation of each one to act on it, always bearing in mind that “the best way to predict the future is to build it” (Peter Druker). The Department of Educational Studies, School of Philosophy (NKUA)

The Department of Educational Studies is one of the twelve organic units of the School of Philosophy of the National Capodistrian University of Athens. The Department is one of the three organic units of the School. The degree program in Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology leads to a bachelor's degree, with specialization in areas of professional training for teaching Greek language and literature in secondary education. It offers five graduate degree programs (Masters) and collaborates in the implementation of interdepartmental postgraduate programs, in cooperation with other departments. Thematic areas include planning education, new technologies, special education, environmental education and others. For many years, it has been a think-tank and research center on the innovative design of value-added pedagogical interventions and their infusion in environments schoolchildren, with an emphasis on teacher support. Many team members (associate professors, assistant professors) of the Department are Chairs of the Scientific Supervisory Boards of the Athens Experimental Secondary Schools. There are fifteen Experimental Secondary Schools that have been formally established by the Ministry of Educational Affairs to operate in Greece, in order to implement pedagogical innovations and facilitating research.

The Departement also contributes to the educational policy, through the introduction of innovations in the system itself. It is responsible for the training of teachers in various areas, namely in the use of technologies, Science, Mathematics and Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology. Recently, by decision of the Ministry of Educational Affairs, it is responsible for awarding the “pedagogical training certificate”. It organized, as a partner and coordinator, several projects of national and European networks. Its investigations concern specific target groups such as women, people with learning difficulties or disabilities. The Educational Technology Laboratory, operating at the faculty, in the Department of Pedagogy, offers courses in Educational Technology and Mathematics, Science and Environmental Education, at the level of undergraduate and graduate. The institution participated in initiatives of the Ministry of Education of Greece to enhance the use of digital media in Primary and Secondary Education and in projects financed by the Ministry of Development. Its role has been to advise and help implement strategies to use technology to infuse added value and innovation pedagogical.

Carl von Ossietzky Gymnasium

The Gymnasiale Oberstufe des Schulzentrums Carl von Ossietzky, which forms part of the Carl-von-Ossietzky School Center, is one of two schools in Bremerhaven, with around 700 pupils and 90 teachers, especially dedicated to the area of Natural Sciences, an example being the participation of students in the project "Jugend Forscht", a German competition of youth science, which annually involves more than 10,000 young people. It is the biggest science and technology competition for young people in Europe. The institution, in close cooperation with the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research and the Bremerhaven school administration, has created a innovative teaching project: since August 2002 students with a special interest in the natural sciences have been preparing at the AWI for the final school exam secondary (Abitur). AWI researchers, for their part, actively participate in the planning of the school's lessons, thus ensuring an effective linkage of teaching with the ongoing projects at AWI.

This dynamic is also verified in terms of interdisciplinarity, bearing in mind that biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and chemistry classes are taught on a permanent basis. Cooperation with English teachers, in a multidisciplinary teaching format, sharing of knowledge and experiences between teachers that has contributed a lot to making the effectively significant student learning. The school has also developed a very meritorious work within the scope of the "Young Scientists" program. Thus, in physics classes, topics related to the climate change and its consequences, as well as issues related to space physics and technology. In the context of extracurricular activities, students have had the opportunity to visit various research centers and contact researchers from various areas, namely dedicated to wind energy, at the University of Sciences Applied from Bremerhaven, to space technology EADS-Astrium Bremen, to climate change at AWI Bremerhaven and to physics and space technology at DLR-School_Lab in Bremen. They will also soon be in contact with researchers from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. The school is also a member of the European Youth Initiative and Network "School without Racism – School with Courage" (SoR).

1o Peiramatiko Gymnasio Athinas

The 1st Peiramatiko Gymnasio Athinas has a total of 25 teachers and 234 students, divided into nine classes of 26 students each. Students mainly come from the center of Athens and are from a lower/middle socioeconomic class. Among students' parents, there is a significant percentage with higher education. The school has a permanent partnership with the University of Athens, in the context of initial and continuing teacher training. This cooperation also includes the participation in research projects, support for the implementation of innovative educational practices and collaboration through a training center for students university students who intend to pursue a career in the field of education. The school created a series of initiatives that demonstrate the commitment to building a modern educational institution, with a focus on providing high-quality educational services.

As part of that effort, the 1st Peiramatiko Gymnasio Athinas developed an annual program of cultural activities in which students attend concerts, theatrical performances, film screenings and other events. During the school year, there are 15-20 interest groups working on various subjects (film production, physics labs, debate competitions, folk dances, cooking, etc.), in which 150 students from the school and other schools participate; it constituted a complete “digital class”, a distance learning environment on the Moodle platform, for all subjects. All students actively participate in the digital class in various ways; co-operate systematically with scientific and social organizations such as Amnesty International, Rehabilitation Centres, the Mediterranean Network, etc.; established a special program that links the teaching of foreign languages to other subjects, such as Biology, History, Home Economics, Geography, etc., implementing the educative method of Content and Language Integrated Learning; developed the concept of “personal counseling” for each student, with specially prepared teachers who act as mentors for groups of 10 to 15 students; the supervisor's duty is to support students, during their school career, to discuss with them the various problems they face in the school environment; attending to the important changes in their students' lives that can influence school attendance, etc.; streamlined an entrepreneurship program, in which 26 students participate, linking educational practice with the labor market; created a digital platform through which all school management issues are addressed; this tool is used to monitor attendance and assessment of the performance of students and ensures continuous communication with parents, communicating them to themselves and those responsible for education; it also creates an electronic portfolio for each student, who is continually enriched throughout their school career.
